We watch as our kids “just keep swimming” through a media downpour. Hopefully, they will learn from the brightly colored women and men that influence their lives. Along the way, all we can do is hope that our children learn to become the heroes they grew up watching. These pictures have touched our children’s hearts and imaginations. Who wouldn’t want to watch Patrick Stewart voice the Poop Emoji? Studios will throw in the adult joke here and there to keep the parents watching, but the real draw for the adults is the A-list stars these movies are able to acquire. While the films are obviously aimed at children, it is the parents who are forced to watch Tangled four times a day and learn every Frozen song by heart.
Disney is constantly updating their catalog of princesses, Pixar is always releasing cultural smash hits and the newest kid on the block, Illumination Studios, is quickly becoming a powerhouse in the genre.
It seems today that that top children's movie producers are releasing a new movie every three months.
